Referred to by the Los Angeles Times as "an utterly engaging performer," Davy Rothbart, a frequent contributor to National Public Radio's “This American Life,” read excerpts from his acclaimed magazine Found, and essays from his new book My Heart Is an Idiot. Davy is a writer and filmmaker. He’s the author of the story collection The Lone Surfer of Montana, Kansas and writes regularly for GQ. His work also appears in the New Yorker, The New York Times and High Times. In 2007 Geffen Records released the documentary film How We Survive about the punk rock band Rise Against, and in the 2010 the film Easier With Practice based on his autobiographical piece in GQ, won two Independent Spirit Awards.
