Catherine Galasso and Mickey Mahar perform at Contemporary Arts Forum, Forum Lounge on March 7, 2013. Choreographer and media artist Catherine Galasso presents a series of live two-person dance tableaux throughout the gallery, created in response to the current exhibitions, A Handful of Dustand Bloom Projects: Molly Smith, Root. Using the raw material of human gesture, the tableaux will explore both primitive physicality, as well as the body as a sculptural object. Catherine will draw from her existing “repertoire,” as well as create new material on site.
